Complacent Unaware

This is the first painting I ever finished (I had tried a couple times before and failed/abandoned), and it holds a special place in my little 'ol heart. Seriously though, I have commitment issues when it comes to completing works and I get so happy looking at this simply because I finished it. The only digital editing was for lighting; possibly will be replaced with better picture.

I don't have a name for him oddly enough but I think this species would be associated with a warm, wet climate, something along the lines of a beachside jungle. I also imagine they spend a lot of time underwater as well.
